GLEN ELLYN — Second-half goals from Guylberson Camille (Key West, Fla./Key West) and Santiago Palacio (Cali, Colombia/Colegio La Arboleda) helped the No. 7 Carl Sandburg College men’s soccer team to a 3-2 victory on Saturday at DuPage.

The Chargers (13-2 overall, 10-2 Region IV) took a 1-0 lead in the 40th minute on an unassisted goal from Juan David Leal (Bogota, Colombia/Colegio Beato Jordan de Sajonia. After the Chaparrals scored in the 44th minute to even the score at halftime, Sandburg got back-to-back goals to take the lead for good.

Camille connected in the 59th minute off a pass by Lucas Mitihiro Sueyoshi (Sao Paulo, Brazil/Colegio Sao Jose, Santa Andre), and Jean Forestal (Ocoee, Fla./Ocoee) fed Palacio for a goal in the 68th minute to extend Sandburg’s lead to 3-1. DuPage quickly responded in the 70th minute, but the Chargers were able to hang on for their fourth straight victory.
